Performance
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid gets a hybrid drivetrain with a 3.6-liter Atkinson-cycle inline-four engine and an electric motor to produce 260 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. That’s less than the Pilot’s V6, which creates 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Pacifica Hybrid also has slightly slower acceleration than the Pilot due to its weight (it weighs about 300 pounds more).
The 2022 Honda Pilot is offered in two versions: one with V6 power, one with turbocharged four cylinder power. Both engines get similar fuel economy numbers—22 mpg combined for both the 2WD and AWD versions of each engine—but the 2WD version of the V6 has better performance specs.
The Bottom Line
Both the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and the 2022 Honda Pilot are great vehicles.
